Sponsorship & Benefits

The Sponsorship & Benefits Committee is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Corporate Sponsorship program designed to attract and maintain corporate sponsorship. Responsibilities of this committee include:

  • Create Corporate Sponsorship program to include sponsorship levels and associated benefits
  • Review plan on an annual basis to determine need to update and/or revise
  • Develop evaluation process to secure feedback and ensure that sponsor needs and expectations are met
  • Work with Communications Committee to develop communications regarding sponsorship and benefits
  • Work with Marketing & PR Committee to inform their activities regarding Corporate Sponsorship

Marketing & PR

The goal of the Marketing & PR Committee is to develop program that supports the vision and mission of MAPS. The plan should contain clearly identified goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics for implementation by appropriate stakeholders (eg, committees, MAPS staff). This committee will liaise with the Communications, Membership, and Annual Meeting Program Committees. Activities include:

  • Develop of a 1- and 3-year marketing and PR plan
  • Recommend activities and events that should be communicated; identify appropriate target audiences for receipt of communications
  • Identify channels for communication
  • Budget for recommended tactics


The MAPS website is our most dynamic resource for communicating key issues about MAPS, our activities, and information about the Medical Affairs environment. The Website Committee is responsible for:

  • Periodic review of the website to identify areas to be updated
  • Recommend changes to/additional types of information for the website to enhance end-user satisfaction
  • Communicate areas for update to identified MAPS staff member
