MedPro Wellness/ Director of Clinical Program Development
Jaime L. Pula, PhD, RDN attended Montclair State University to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and holds a M.S. in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University. She received her Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the School of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University. As a leader for health and wellness promotion, she specializes in clinical nutrition, dining operations, exercise physiology, behavioral science and research with grant funding and several publications as well as oral and poster presentations at international conferences. Serving communities with evidence-based and trending health and wellness strategies is her niche. In 2016, Dr. Pula held a clinical leadership position as Director of Clinical Operations within the Mid-Atlantic Region (NJ, PA, DE, MD) whereby she exercised the authority, responsibility, and accountability to provide clinical nutrition services that are in full compliance with all regulatory statues including federal (Center for Medicare and Medicaid’s Phase 2), state and local bodies company policies and procedures in addition to financial performance targets. As the Director of Clinical Program Development at MedPro Wellness, she leads the development of the ActiveCare Delta, an Engagement Rx™, an original and emerging behavioral change theory, which is powered by the innovative and proprietary MedPro technology platform including the development of specially-crafted electronic messages that encourage and motivate participants to stay engaged and experience lasting success – with healthier lifestyle behavior changes. Currently, she continues to navigate and tackle the ever-changing reimbursement market to offer solutions for revenue models including telehealth, with an emphasis on value- and risk-based contracting. Dr. Pula’s subject matter expertise includes dining and clinical operations as well as research-related activities (such as consultations for IRB processes and statistical analyses).
