Kyle P. Kennedy was a Principal and Managing Director of The Medical Affairs Company, the pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic industry’s leading Contract Medical Organization. PAREXEL International Corporation a leading global biopharmaceutical services provider acquired The Medical Affairs Company, LLC (“TMAC”), and a leading provider of outsourced medical affairs services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries in February 2017.

Mr. Kennedy is a 28 year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, having held prior positions as Medical Science Liaison (MSL), MSL Program Manager, VP and EVP of Field-based Medical Affairs Programs, Field Sales Representative, District Manager and Regional Business Director.

Kyle gained his breadth of experience over a 12-year period at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 1988 – 2001 and over a 6 year period at Science Oriented Solutions (SOS), the pharmaceutical industry’s first Contract Medical Organization, from 2001 – 2007.

In 2007, Mr. Kennedy and several key executives became partners in The Medical Affairs Company (TMAC). Kyle currently acts as the Vice President, Customer Strategy for TMAC/PAREXEL. With a proven track record of success in building and leading teams, he is responsible for Client relationship services, and the oversight, management and development of TMACs Field-based Medical teams engaged on behalf of both large and small biopharmaceutical and medical device companies. Under his leadership, TMAC currently has 2 VPs of Field-based Medical teams, and 12 Field-based Directors, who in-turn manage over 25 different Field-based Medical Affairs Programs, comprised of over 150 MD, Pharm.D, PhD, DNP, PA, RNs  and other healthcare practitioners. Kyle’s MSL management experience encompasses a number of specialty therapeutic areas, spanning activities occurring in the pre-launch, peri-launch and commercialization phases. This experience, coupled with Kyle’s intimate knowledge of the MSL position, enables him to identify healthcare professionals possessing the critical skill sets necessary for excelling as a MSL.

As Executive Vice President at SOS from 2001 – 2007, Kyle was primarily responsible for identifying the needs of existing and potential Medical Science Liaison (MSL) clients, developing solutions, overseeing MSL programs, vice presidents and directors, and maintaining SOS client relationships. As Regional Business Director at Solvay from 1998 -2001, Kyle led strategy and was responsible for all sales generated by a team of 7 district managers and 75 representatives. Kyle also ran Solvay Pharmaceuticals Puerto Rico Business Unit. Kyle is known as an experienced mentor and leader focused on inspiring direct reports to achieve their maximum potential.

Kyle has been a frequently invited speaker to Medical Affairs forums in the US, and in 2007 was interviewed and quoted in a chapter on Medical Science Liaison Management from the first book dedicated to the function of the MSL, The Medical Science Liaison: An A to Z Guide by Drs. Erin Albert and Cathleen Sass. In 2009, Kyle was voted as one of PharmaVoice’s PharmaVoice 100 in the category of Commanders & Chiefs.
