Sarah is a Scientific Division Lead for Caudex, a McCann Health company focused on communicating great science for maximum impact. Sarah leads business development, provides strategic scientific leadership, and supports in best-practice medical communications, developing new product and service offerings for clients, and implementing complementary skills training for staff.

 

Sarah has a B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received her Ph.D. from Universität Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany, in collaboration with the Institute for Toxicology and Genetics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neurology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.

 

Since entering medical communications, Sarah has worked with and managed scientific writing teams for multiple pre- and post-launch brands and therapeutic areas including neurology, mood disorders, pain, cardiology, diabetes, immunology and vaccines. Sarah has provided scientific consultancy in publications, medical affairs and marketing. She is an active member of the International Society of Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) and recently authored a poster presentation at the 2017 meeting in National Harbor. Sarah has a keen interest in data generation initiatives and optimal data visualization, and is always looking for ways to integrate creative into scientific to communicate science with flair.
