This tracking helps us to understand our users better and to improve our website and the information it provides and to maintain and administer the website. Who can access the MAPS Community Portal?

Please note that the MAPS Community Portal is to be used by members of MAPS only. Certain workspaces within the Community Portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by MAPS staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.

What can be posted?

To ensure all interactions within the MAPS member portal are safe and friendly, MAPS staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact. To help provide a productive environment, please report any offensive or suspicious activity to MAPS staff. Please note that not all user-submitted content is representative of MAPS, nor does it necessarily represent the views of MAPS, its staff or members.

Access to information

To allow for the site administrators to monitor the site for abuse, administrators have access to member’s private messages. This is a design feature of BuddyPress to allow the site owners to moderate abuse.

Assumption of risk

Comments, posts and information uploaded to the Community Portal reflect the views only of the users who posted them; the information and content posted does not necessarily reflect the views of MAPS. Relying solely on content posted in the Community Portal is at your sole discretion and risk, and MAPS will not be responsible for any errors or judgements of any kind.
